Connect the Printer to a Computer Using RS-232C
Connection using RS-232C requires the use of a dedicated conversion cable (PA-SCA-002).
- Start the Printer Setting Tool.

- Set parameters in the Communication Settings window as follows:Baud rateFrom 4800 bps to 115200 bpsBit Length7 bits or 8 bitsParityNone, Odd, or EvenBusy ControlDTR or XON/XOFF
Other settings, such as the baud rate, must be changed in order to use a RS-232C connection. The settings for this printer's serial port are shown in the table above. - Click the Set button to save the parameters.
