Message | Cause/Remedy |

Barcode error Record: XXXXX Field : XXXXX | There was an attempt to print barcode labels from a database. The Labeling System displays this message when the selected range of the database includes invalid characters or numbers not supported by the barcode protocol. |
Barcode too wide | Reduce the barcode data, or try to use wider tape. |
Battery damaged. Replace Li-ion Battery. | The Rechargeable Li-ion Battery is damaged. Replace the battery or use an AC adapter. |
Battery empty | The battery has run out of charge. Recharge the Li-ion Battery. |
Check no. of digits entered | The number of digits entered in the barcode data does not match the number of digits set in the barcode parameters. Enter the correct number of digits. |
Cooling... wait ## mins and restart machine | The printer is too hot and needs to cool down. Wait for the number of minutes listed in the message, and then try again. |
Cutter error | If the tape is jammed in the Cutter unit, remove the tape. Turn the Labeling System off and then on again before continuing. |
Hi-Res Print not supported with this media | The tape currently installed cannot print in high resolution mode. |
Length limit | The printed label length using the text entered is longer than 39.37" (999 mm). Edit the text so that the label length is less than 39.37" (999 mm). |
Low Battery | The battery level is low. Recharge the Li-ion Battery. |
Memory full reduce file size to proceed | The total data size exceeds the free space in the printer's memory after you have edited database records. Reduce the data size if you want to edit. |
System error XX | Contact Brother Customer Service. |
Text too long | The printed label length using the text entered is longer than the length setting. Edit the text to fit within the set length or change the length setting. |
