Load New Articles, Photos, and other Documents

Make sure documents with ink or correction fluid are completely dry.
  1. Insert the document into the Carrier Sheet (not included).

    • Set the document in the centre of the Carrier Sheet and align the top edge of the document with the top edge of the Carrier Sheet.
    • If the document is longer than the Carrier Sheet, fold it so that it overlaps when you insert it into the Carrier Sheet. When finished, unfold and refold it so the rest of the information is visible, insert it into the Carrier Sheet, and scan it again.

  2. Adjust the Paper Guides (1) to fit the width of the Carrier Sheet.

  3. Place the Carrier Sheet in the ADF between the Paper Guides until you feel it touch the inside of the machine.
