Register a Number in the Block List

If you do not want to receive faxes or calls from specific numbers, register the numbers to the block list. The machine can register up to 100 fax or telephone numbers from the caller ID memory.

  • You must apply for the Caller ID service at your local telephone company.
  • The number you want to register must be stored in the caller ID memory.
  • The Caller ID feature is not available in some countries.

MFC-L2805DW

  1. Press image (傳真).
  2. Press 功能.
  3. Press image or image to display the [Fax] option, and then press OK.
  4. Press image or image to display the [Block List] option, and then press OK.
  5. Press image or image to display the [Register] option, and then press OK.

    The machine displays the numbers in the caller ID memory.

  6. Press image or image to display the number you want to register, and then press OK.
  7. Press image to register the number.

    To go back without registering the number, press image.
  8. Press 停止 / 退出.

MFC-L2885DW

  1. Press image[Settings]>[All Settings]>[Fax]>[Incoming limit]>[Block List]>[Register].
    The machine displays the numbers in the caller ID memory.
  2. Press image or image to display the number you want to register, and then press it.
  3. Press [Yes].
  4. Press image.
