Send a Fax at a Specified Time (Delayed Fax)

You can store up to 50 faxes in the machine's memory to be sent within the next twenty-four hour period.

MFC-L2802DN/MFC-L2800DW/MFC-L2802DW/MFC-L2827DWXL/MFC-L2827DW/MFC-L2835DW

  1. Press image (Fax).
  2. Load your document.
  3. Press Options.
  4. Press image or image to display the [Delayed Fax] option, and then press OK.
  5. Enter the time you want the fax to be sent.

    • If you set [12h Clock] in the [Date & Time] setting, enter the time in 12-hour format, and then press OK.

      Press image or image to display the [AM] or [PM] option, and then press OK.

    • If you set [24h Clock] in the [Date & Time] setting, enter the time in 24-hour format, and then press OK.

      (For example, enter 19:45 for 7:45 PM.)

  6. Enter the fax number.
  7. Press Start.

    • The number of pages you can scan into the memory depends on the amount of data printed on each page.

  1. Load your document.
  2. Do one of the following:

    • If Fax Preview is set to [Off], press image ([Fax]).

    • If Fax Preview is set to [On], press image ([Fax]), and then press [Send a fax].
  3. Press image[Options]>[Delayed Fax]>[Delayed Fax].
  4. Press [On].
  5. Press [Set Time].
  6. Enter the time you want the fax to be sent.

    • If you set [12h Clock] in the [Date & Time] setting, enter the time in 12-hour format.

      Press the image button to select [AM] or [PM], and then press [OK].

    • If you set [24h Clock] in the [Date & Time] setting, enter the time in 24-hour format and then press [OK].

      (For example, enter 19:45 for 7:45 PM.)

  7. Press [OK]
  8. Enter the fax number.
  9. Press [Fax Start].
