  1. Press Menu.
  2. Press image or image to display the [General Setup] option, and then press OK.
  3. (MFC-L2802DN/MFC-L2800DW/MFC-L2802DW/MFC-L2827DWXL/MFC-L2827DW/MFC-L2835DW) Press image or image to display the [Security] option, and then press OK.
  4. Press image or image to display the [Setting Lock] option, and then press OK.
  5. Press OK when the LCD displays [On].
  6. Enter the current four-digit password.
  7. Press OK.

MFC-L2860DWE/MFC-L2860DW/MFC-L2862DW/MFC-L2922DW/MFC-L2960DW/MFC-L2980DW

  1. Press image[Settings]>[All Settings]>[General Setup]>[Setting Lock]>[Lock Off⇒On].
  2. Enter the current four-digit password.
  3. Press [OK].

To turn Setting Lock off, press image on the LCD, enter the current four-digit password, and then press [OK].
