Update Your Machine's Firmware

To keep your machine performance up to date, check support.brother.com for the latest firmware upgrade. Otherwise, some of your machine's functions may not be available.

You can also update the firmware directly from your machine by following these steps:

MFC-J4335DW/MFC-J4345DW

  1. Press Settings.
  2. Press image or image to select [Machine Info.]. Press OK.
  3. Press image or image to select [Firmware Update].
  4. Press OK.
  5. Press Stop/Exit.

MFC-J4535DW

  1. Press image[Settings]>[All Settings]>[Machine Info.].
  2. Press [Firmware Update].
  3. Press image.
