Turn On Setting Lock

DCP-L5510DN/DCP-L5660DN/MFC-L5710DN/MFC-L5710DW/MFC-L5715DW/MFC-L5717DW/MFC-L5915DW/MFC-L6810DW/MFC-L6915DW

  1. Press image [Settings]>[All Settings]>[General Setup]>[Setting Lock]>[Lock Off⇒On].
  2. Enter the current four-digit password.
  3. Press [OK].

To turn off Setting Lock, press image on the LCD, enter the current four-digit password, and then press [OK].

MFC-L6810DW/MFC-L6915DW

  1. Press image[Admin Settings].
  2. Type the current password, and then press [OK].
  3. Press [Restriction Management]>[Setting Lock]>[On].
  4. When the machine prompts you to select the next step, make your selection, and then press [OK].

    To turn off Setting Lock, repeat steps 1 and 2, and then press [Restriction Management]>[Setting Lock]>[Off].
  5. Press image.
