Change the Paper Size and Paper Type

When you change the size and type of paper you load in the tray, you must also change the Paper Size and Paper Type settings on the LCD.

HL-L3220CW/HL-L3220CDW/HL-L3240CDW

  1. Press image or image to select the following:
    1. Select [General Setup]. Press OK.
    2. Select [Tray Setting]. Press OK.
    3. Select [Paper Type]. Press OK.
  2. Press image or image to display the paper type you want, and then press OK.
  3. Press image or image to display the [Paper Size] option, and then press OK.
  4. Press image or image to display the paper size you want, and then press Go.

HL-L3280CDW/HL-L8240CDW

  1. Press image[Settings]>[All Settings]>[General Setup]>[Tray Setting]>[Paper Type].
  2. Press image or image to display the paper tray options, and then press the option you want.
  3. Press image or image to display the paper type options, and then press the option you want.
  4. Press image.
  5. Press image or image to display the [Paper Size] option, and then press [Paper Size].
  6. Press image or image to display the paper tray options, and then press the option you want.
  7. Press image or image to display the paper size options, and then press the option you want.
  8. Press image.
