Set Auto Power Off Mode

If the machine is in Deep Sleep Mode for certain length of time, based on your model and settings, the machine will go into Power Off Mode automatically. The machine does not go into Power Off Mode when the machine is connected to a network or has secure print data in the memory(available only for certain models).
  • To start printing, press image on the control panel and then send a print job.

Select how long the machine must be in Deep Sleep Mode before it goes into Auto Power Off Mode.

  1. Press image or image to select the following:
    1. Select [General Setup]. Press OK.
    2. Select [Ecology]. Press OK.
    3. Select [Auto Power Off]. Press OK.
  2. Press image or image to select the length of time (1, 2, 4, or 8 hours) that the machine should remain idle before entering Power Off Mode.
  3. Press Go.

HL-L6410DN/HL-L6415DN

  1. Press image[Settings]>[All Settings]>[General Setup]>[Ecology]>[Auto Power Off].
  2. Press image or image to display the length of time (1, 2, 4, or 8 hours) that the machine should remain idle before entering Power Off Mode, and then press the option you want.
  3. Press image.
